It may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Archbishop Hannan ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Chalmette Owls 8-7. Winning may never get old, but the Hawks sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Archbishop Hannan's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-8. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 2.75 runs across that stretch. As for Chalmette, their record now sits at 10-6.

Coincidentally, Archbishop Hannan and Chalmette will both be playing Ascension Catholic the next time they take the field. Chalmette will head out to face Ascension Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while Archbishop Hannan will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
