Alpharetta won the last time they faced Marist and things went their way on Thursday too. The Raiders came out on top against the War Eagles by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Raiders.

While Alpharetta won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-21.

Marist lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Sawyer Straley, who had 14 digs and one assist. Straley is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

Alpharetta's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Marist, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-2.
