The Lathrop Spartans had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.7 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They blew past Grace Davis 58-37. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Lathrop has posted since December 4, 2023.
Lathrop was led to victory by Reniel Crisostomo and Caiden Wisnieski. Crisostomo scored 12 points, while Wisnieski scored 11 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wisnieski has scored all season. Fardin Kabiri was another key contributor, scoring three points along with six assists.
Lathrop's win bumped their record up to 8-14. As for Grace Davis, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-14.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lathrop will take on Beyer at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Grace Davis, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Pacheco at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st.
