Aaron Deleon Dazzles in Stratford Defeat
Starting off the list is Stratford's Aaron Deleon, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Deleon rushed for 131 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also threw for 102 yards on eight of 23 attempts. Those 131 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
If history really does repeat itself, Deleon might just drop another big game when he faces off against Cypress Ridge on Saturday. Deleon threw for 301 yards and five touchdowns while completing 76.2% of his passes, and also rushed for 65 yards on only seven carries the last time he and the Rams duked it out back in October of 2023.

Chase Ferrell Turns in Season-Best Effort
Cypress Falls was led to victory by Chase Ferrell, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Ferrell rushed for 86 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 70 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 80 yards.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Cypress Falls, bringing their record for this year to 5-2. Ferrell and Cypress Falls will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Cy-Fair at 7:00 p.m. on November 2nd.

Sadly, Tiergan Burl posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Stratford over Cy-Fair on Saturday. Burl picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and made 15 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
