Despite their loss, Laurel-Concord-Coleridge saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Rena Rasmussen, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. Rasmussen has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more boards the last ten times she's played. Another player making a difference was Carlie Kvols, who posted eight points.
Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] over Neligh-Oakdale in every quarter on their way to victory on Thursday. Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] blew past Neligh-Oakdale 57-32. The victory continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won eight in a row.
Laurel-Concord-Coleridge better keep an eye on Lydia Robertson. She was instrumental in Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard]'s win, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 14 rebounds. What's more, Robertson also posted a 71% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's posted since back in December of 2023. Jenna Funk was another key player, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 13 boards.
