The Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Bears will head out on the road to  challenge  the Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] Bobcats  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Laurel-Concord-Coleridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.1  points per game  this season.
Laurel-Concord-Coleridge saw some tournament action  on Thursday. They took  a  46-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Elkhorn Valley. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings  (they are ranked 116th, while the Falcons are ranked 28th).

 Despite their  loss, Laurel-Concord-Coleridge saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays.  Rena Rasmussen, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on 18  points and nine  rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. Rasmussen has been hot for a while, having  posted eight or more  boards the last ten times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Carlie Kvols, who  posted eight points.
Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] over Neligh-Oakdale in every quarter on their way to victory  on Thursday. Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] blew past Neligh-Oakdale 57-32. The  victory continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won eight in a row.
Laurel-Concord-Coleridge better keep an eye on  Lydia Robertson. She was instrumental in Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard]'s win,  dropping  a double-double on 24  points and 14  rebounds. What's more,  Robertson also posted a 71%  field goal percentage, which is the highest she's  posted since back in December of 2023.  Jenna Funk was another key player,  dropping  a double-double on 15 points and 13  boards.
 Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] was working as a unit and  finished the game with 16  assists. That's the most  assists they've managed all season.
 Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard]'s record is now 8-12. As for Laurel-Concord-Coleridge, they now  have a losing record at 10-11.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest:  Laurel-Concord-Coleridge has been crashing the boards this season,  having  averaged 31.8  rebounds per game. However, it's not like Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 30.7  boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
 Laurel-Concord-Coleridge took their  win against Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard]  in their previous matchup  on Monday by a conclusive  61-37. Will Laurel-Concord-Coleridge repeat their success,  or does  Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
