Big Game from Lawrence As Meadville Fell 35-27
Starting off the list is Meadville's Jordan Lawrence, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Lawrence rushed for 94 yards and two touchdowns. He has become a key player for Meadville: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.
If the past is any indication, Lawrence could be in store for another big game when he takes on Warren on Friday. Lawrence rushed for 223 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries the last time he and the Dragons duked it out back in October of 2023.

Isaac Zietz was instrumental in extending General McLane's winning streak to seven on Thursday. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in November of 2023.
General McLane's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Zietz and General McLane are taking a road trip to square off against Cathedral Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Cole Findlay Leads Oil City over Warren
Oil City was led to victory by Cole Findlay, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Saturday. Findlay threw for 137 yards and three touchdowns on only six passes, and also rushed for 45 yards and a touchdown.
This year, Findlay has thrown 15 touchdowns while averaging 160.5 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 9.63 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 29.5 rushing yards.

De?Vaughn Griffin Delivers Electric Performance Vs Warren
Another Oil City player making an appearance on this list is De?Vaughn Griffin. He picked up 125 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 32 yards.
Warren had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Griffin it was a similar story. When Griffin last faced the Dragons back in August of 2023, he rushed for 78 yards and a touchdown.
