Oscoda has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Alcona Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Two weeks ago, Oscoda didn't have too much trouble with the Eagles at home as they won 45-26.
Meanwhile, Alcona had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.3 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They skirted past Rogers City 40-37.
David Sharboneau was a one-man wrecking crew for Alcona as he scored 15 points. Cayden Hebert was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with two steals.
Oscoda has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Alcona, they pushed their record up to 14-4 with that win, which was their seventh straight on the road.
Oscoda came up short against the Tigers in their previous matchup back in January, falling 47-36. Can Oscoda avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
