Fivay lost to Pasco 50-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Eric Vitale was a bright spot for the Falcons, as he threw for 83 yards in the defeat.
Land O'Lakes made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 4,600 from 4,938. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 24-7 victory over Anclote last week.
Nathan Johnson was the most successful running back in 6A District 6 this week. He ran for 135 yards on 19 carries as Sunlake defeated River Ridge. Teammate Logan Wolfe added to the ground attack by rushing for 22 yards.
James Pensyl put up the best numbers in passing as the Gators bested the Sharks. He finished with a total of 17 completions for 219 yards and 2 touchdowns. Pensyl's favorite target this week was Kamal Wells, who caught 4 passes for 69 yards.
Jean-Baptiste was the best receiver in the league this week as the Seahawks topped the Royal Knights. Jean-Baptiste tallied 3 receptions for 90 yards.
He was 17-34 with 0 interceptions.
6-foot-6 quarterback Pensyl of Land O'Lakes is the league leader in passing yards this season with 594. He has also thrown 4 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Christian Coleman. The Fivay star has 5 catches for 254 yards.
Mitchell led the league in scoring this week by notching 41 points on Ridgewood. Nate Boler ran for 103 yards and caught 2 passes for 89 yards during the win.
