Mt. Healthy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jahmeir Spain, who threw for 366 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 18.3 yards per attempt. Spain is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Israel Bradford, who gained 182 total yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Chaminade Julienne Catholic came up short against Archbishop Alter on Friday and fell 21-14. Chaminade Julienne Catholic has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Nydrell Wright, who rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries.
Mt. Healthy is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. As for Chaminade Julienne Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
