The Barnesville Shamrocks will look to take advantage of their home-field for the first time this season as they take on the Bellaire Big Reds  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their  games after big wins in their previous games.
 Barnesville is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Fort Frye. Barnesville took their  match on the road  on Friday with ease, bagging  a  51-16 victory over Fort Frye. Given the Shamrocks' advantage  in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings  (they are ranked 127th, while the Cadets are ranked 371st), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Meanwhile, Bellaire  took care of business in their home opener  on Friday (and then some). They breezed by Buckeye Local at home  to the tune of  38-6.
  Maurice Webb was a one-man wrecking crew for Bellaire as he rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns. Webb was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run  that went for 51 yards. Another pass catcher making a difference was  Raekwon Pettigrew, who gained 100 total yards and a touchdown.
 Everything went Barnesville's way against Bellaire in their previous meeting  back in August of 2023 as Barnesville made off with  a  38-14 win. Will Barnesville repeat their success,  or does  Bellaire have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
