It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the St. Mary's-Colgan Panthers had no problem doing just that on Friday. Everything went their way against St. Marys as St. Mary's-Colgan made off with a 33-8 win. The win was just business as usual for St. Mary's-Colgan, who after 11 games remain undefeated this season.
Tucker Harrell was a one-man wrecking crew for St. Mary's-Colgan as he rushed for 146 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 125 yards and a touchdown while completing 80% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Simmons, who rushed for 119 yards and a touchdown.
St. Mary's-Colgan's victory bumped their record up to 11-0. As for St. Marys, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.
St. Mary's-Colgan will take on Jefferson County North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Jefferson County North is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. St. Marys does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
