The Linfield Christian Lions are on the road again on Friday and play against the Vista Murrieta Broncos at 7:00 p.m. on December 8th. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Last Saturday, Linfield Christian lost to Oak Hills on the road by a decisive 68-54 margin.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Julius Brower, who scored 14 points along with 5 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Cox, who scored 14 points.
Meanwhile, Vista Murrieta unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 73-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rancho Verde. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
The losses dropped both teams to an identical 4-4.
Everything came up roses for Linfield Christian against Vista Murrieta in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 as the squad secured a 75-47 victory. Will Linfield Christian repeat their success, or does Vista Murrieta have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
