Woodland got themselves on the board against Dexter on Monday, but Dexter never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Bearcats with a sharp 20-0 victory. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by six runs or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Woodland and bumps their season record up to 9-8. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Dexter, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.

Woodland wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 13-3 win against Delta on the 6th. As for Dexter, they have also already played their next game, a 19-9 loss against Portageville on the 7th.
