Last Wednesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Piedmont Hills beat Willow Glen 52-46. That's two games straight that Piedmont Hills has won by exactly six points.
Subeg Rai was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. He is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Brian Pham was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven assists.
Meanwhile, Pioneer entered their tilt with Prospect with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Pioneer came out on top against Prospect by a score of 54-44 on Wednesday.
Piedmont Hills' win bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Pioneer, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.
Piedmont Hills came up short against Pioneer in their previous matchup back in January, falling 57-50. Can Piedmont Hills avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
