The matchup between the Anderson HomeSchool SONS and the Legacy Christian Grizzlies on Saturday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. Anderson HomeSchool simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Legacy Christian 75-46 at home. That looming 75-46 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Anderson HomeSchool yet this season.
Anderson HomeSchool was led to victory by Clark Emly and Kailani McCloud. Emly dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds, while McCloud scored 14 points along with six rebounds and three blocks. The game was McCloud's 12th in a row with at least ten points. Jacob Looper was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Despite the loss, Legacy Christian still got an impressive performance from Seth Harper, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Noah Sanders, who scored 12 points.
Legacy Christian struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Anderson HomeSchool racked up 20 assists.
Anderson HomeSchool is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Legacy Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
Anderson HomeSchool will be home for the holidays to greet Noble-Whitley Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Noble-Whitley Warriors has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Legacy Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on King's Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 12, 2024.
