The state rankings had actually given ConVal a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
The defeat dropped ConVal's record to 1-4. The win bumped Manchester West's record up to 2-3.
Next week ConVal take on St. Thomas Aquinas at 7:00 PM. As for Manchester West, they will face off against Alvirne. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Manchester West and Alvirne will really light up the scoreboard.
