Southeast and Uniontown are an even 4-4 against one another since February of 2018, but not for long. The pair will face off at 6:00 p.m. on February 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Southeast will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
In what's become a running theme this season, Southeast gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They blew past Oswego 63-23 on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-5.
Southeast's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Bella Tavernaro led the charge by scoring 13 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Tavernaro has scored all season. Teagan Warner was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Uniontown humbled Pleasanton with a 38-10 victory.
Southeast has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Uniontown, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
Southeast barely slipped by Uniontown in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, winning 31-30. Will Southeast repeat their success, or does Uniontown have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
