There wasn't a ton of movement in the power rankings this week, but there was certainly enough to keep things interesting. A special shoutout goes to Trinity Catholic's senior Isaiah Williams, who scored seven total touchdowns in the team's most recent match.
Can't Touch This
The Trinity Catholic offense has been a force to be reckoned with this season, and last week was no different. It put the hurt on Lutheran with a conclusive 75 - 15 victory. Trinity Catholic did have the odds in its favor, but the team did even better than the MaxPreps state rankings indicated. Isaiah Williams deserves a lot of credit in the win. He rushed for 134 yards and threw for five touchdowns, a performance good enough to make him one of the top players in the power rankings last week.
This Week's Big Showdown
One of the hottest tickets last week involved the clash between Fox (8th in the power rankings) and Marquette (18th). Fox finished ahead of Marquette by a score of 21 - 17. Fox saw its record improve to 6-0 and its power rank jump four places as a result.
Game of Inches
The title of the most exciting match of the week goes to the clash between Lutheran North and MICDS. Lutheran North won a game that couldn't get any closer, slipping by MICDS 21 - 20. Despite Lutheran North's win, the team was passed up by other teams in the power rankings and gave up three spots in the rankings.
