Biggs has been on the road for nine straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Willows Honkers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Biggs focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Saturday.
Last Saturday, Biggs earned a 63-54 win over Lassen. That's two games straight that Biggs has won by exactly nine points.
Biggs' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Skyler Long led the charge by scoring 17 points. The game was Long's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Chris Kroupa, who scored 16 points along with 8 rebounds and 5 assists.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 76 points the game before, Willows were a bit more limited in their contest on Saturday. They had to suffer through a rough 65-23 loss at the hands of Fall River. While losing is never fun, Willows can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 686th, while Fall River is ranked 186th).
Biggs is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Willows, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
Biggs skirted past Willows 47-44 in their previous meeting back in December of 2022. Will Biggs repeat their success, or does Willows have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
