The Clairton Bears posted their biggest win since December 28, 2023 on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Propel Braddock Hills 70-33 at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Clairton.
Clairton found their leader in underclassman Taris Wooding, who scored 19 points along with two steals. Wooding hasn't dropped below 15points for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryant Blair, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
The victory got Clairton back to even at 9-9. As for Propel Braddock Hills, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.
Clairton will head out on the road to challenge Serra Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Serra Catholic knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight matchups -- so hopefully Clairton likes a good challenge. As for Propel Braddock Hills, they will be playing at home against Propel Montour at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Propel Montour comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
