They breezed by Holy Savior Menard at home to the tune of 49-0. The victory was just business as usual for Calvary Baptist Academy, who after 11 games remain undefeated this season.
Calvary Baptist Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Abram Wardell led the charge by throwing for 204 yards and three touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes. Aubrey Hermes was another key contributor, picking up 154 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Calvary Baptist Academy pushed their record up to 11-0 with that win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 41.33 points. As for Holy Savior Menard, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-4.
Calvary Baptist Academy will face off against Parkview Baptist at TBD on Friday. Parkview Baptist will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Louisiana Rankings (they are ranked 70th, while Calvary Baptist Academy is ranked 15th). Holy Savior Menard does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
