The team also got some help courtesy of Aidyn Witt, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Bryn Gillespie was her usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with seven rebounds and five steals for Quinter. Gillespie has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times she's played. Kennedy Werth was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with two steals.
Decatur Community has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season. As for Quinter, their victory bumped their record up to 11-7.
Decatur Community will be playing in front of their home fans against Logan on Tuesday. Hopefully Decatur Community focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Friday.
