Softball Recap: Bushland Beats Tulia for Their Fourth Straight Win

Bushland came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Tulia Hornets 17-1. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by eight runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Charley Spinks, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in February. Chayney Snelson was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-4.

Bushland always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .788. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Bushland's record now sits at 12-10. As for Tulia, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bushland will take on Dalhart at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
