It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Glassboro Bulldogs had no problem doing just that on Friday. They managed a 14-10 win over Woodstown. The win was familiar territory for Glassboro who now have six in a row.
Kristopher Foster jr threw for 60 yards on seven of 14 attempts. Xavier Sabb was his top target, picking up 88 receiving yards. On the ground, Dominic Barr rushed for 28 yards.
When it comes to explaining why Woodstown lost, one person who can't be blamed is Bryce Belinfanti. Despite the final result, he rushed for 99 yards on only 14 carries.
Glassboro's victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-3. It's not like the team was facing easy opposition over that stretch either, as it included 11-1 Schalick and 8-3 Burlington City (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 55.2% over those games). As for Woodstown, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-3.
Glassboro will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mountain Lakes at 11:00 a.m. on November 29th. Mountain Lakes is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games. Woodstown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
