Florence/Henry is 10-0 against Great Plains Lutheran since December of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Florence/Henry Falcons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Great Plains Lutheran Panthers at 6:30 p.m. Florence/Henry will be looking to keep their 14-game home win streak alive.
Last Tuesday, Florence/Henry came up short against Arlington and fell 51-44.
Meanwhile, Great Plains Lutheran didn't have too much trouble with Wilmot on the road on Tuesday as they won 57-39.
Great Plains Lutheran's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Olivia Holmen, who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds and two blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Holmen has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Kjenstad, who scored ten points along with five assists and five steals.
Florence/Henry's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-2. As for Great Plains Lutheran, their win bumped their record up to an identical 10-2.
Everything came up roses for Florence/Henry against Great Plains Lutheran when the teams last played back in January of 2023 as the squad secured a 58-25 victory. With Florence/Henry ahead 46-9 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
