The Covenant Christian Warriors will head out on the road to challenge the North Central Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Central took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Covenant Christian, who comes in off a win.
Covenant Christian will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Friday, then bounced right back against Herron on Saturday. The Warriors walked away with a 10-5 win over the Achaeans. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Achaeans: they've now won six in a row.

Braylin Boruff made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits. Those seven strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double.
In other batting news, Covenant Christian let Avery Bennett and Emmy Nottingham run wild. Bennett went 1-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run, while Nottingham went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI Bennett has posted since back in April. Moriah Armstrong was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
Covenant Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Brownsburg hit North Central with a four-run fourth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Panthers took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Panthers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.
North Central saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaelee Jacobs, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that Jacobs has launched this season. Another was Harlow Heath, who went 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Covenant Christian's record now sits at 10-8. As for North Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9-1.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Covenant Christian hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .344. However, it's not like North Central struggles in that department as they've averaged .331. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Covenant Christian might still be hurting after the 12-2 loss they got from North Central in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
