OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - 
Bishop McGuinness (Oklahoma City, Okla.) extended its winning streak to eight games with a 52-0 victory over Northwest Classen (Oklahoma City, Okla.) on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a safety in the first quarter, the Fighting Irish led 31-0 at the half.
Bishop McGuinness expanded its lead to 45 points entering the fourth quarter. BM scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by 
Jacob Lewis.
The Fighting Irish's standout player in the win was Lewis. The junior quarterback threw three touchdowns and ran for one touchdown.
Bishop McGuinness went into the matchup giving up only 8.9 points per game.
In a non-conference game next week Bishop McGuinness (8-0) takes on Lakeville South, and Northwest Classen (4-4) will go up against Deer Creek in a 5A District 2 game.
