St. Mary's Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Andrew Moats, who scored eight points along with eight steals. Isaac Engholm was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with three steals.
St. Mary's Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Wichita Defenders HomeSchool, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Mary's Academy and Wichita HomeSchool will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 25th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
