Brook Hill found their leader in underclassman Savannah Onley, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Onley has scored at least 25% of Brook Hill's points. Remy Tonroy was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Brook Hill is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Crockett, their loss dropped their record down to 13-4.
Brook Hill won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Pollok Central at 2:20 p.m. on December 30, 2023. As for Crockett, they will head out on the road to face off against Shepherd at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Shepherd will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1035th, while Crockett is ranked 395th).
