The Wellington Skyrockets won the last time they faced the Hamilton Bulldogs, and things went their way on Thursday too. Wellington managed a 46-40 victory over Hamilton. That's two games straight that Wellington has won by exactly six points.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kelton Wright, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds. The contest was Wright's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Addy Massingill, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and six steals.
Wellington's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Hamilton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-8.
Wellington will be playing in front of their home fans against Canadian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hamilton and Little River Academy will face off at 2:40 p.m. on December 28th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Little River Academy is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
