The Northside Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They fell 62-49 to Houston County. Northside has not had much luck with Houston County recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Northside's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Chastan Brown, who scored 14 points along with seven blocks and six rebounds, and Keron Milton jr. who scored 17 points along with six rebounds. Brown is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ej Riley, who scored seven points along with five rebounds.
Northside bumped their record down to 5-9 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Houston County, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
