The Roosevelt Mustangs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight defeat. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 4-1 walloping at the hands of North Dallas. Roosevelt has not had much luck with North Dallas recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 3-6-1. As for North Dallas, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-3-3 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Roosevelt will take on Lincoln at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for North Dallas, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on A Plus Academy at 7:30 p.m. on February 14th. A Plus Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 517th, while North Dallas is ranked 248th).
