Hampton Christian Academy came out on top against Catholic on Friday thanks in part to Reese Krantz's efforts. Krantz wasn't messing around, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. The pitching appearance was her fourth straight with five or more strikeouts.

Krantz and Hampton Christian Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on StoneBridge at 4:30 p.m. on the 24th.
