St. Mary's-Colgan extended the longest winning streak in Crawford-Neosho-Cherokee this week by beating Girard, 21-7. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Columbus and Galena played the most contested game in the league this week, with Columbus eventually emerging with a 32-26 victory. Trey Robinson threw for 204 yards and 2 touchdowns during the win.
The Titans' dynamic duo of Robinson and Javohn Morrill proved to be unstoppable against the Bulldogs, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. AJ Randle helped Columbus' passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 32 yards.
Chandler Underhill was a passing and rushing force as Riverton beat Baxter Springs. He completed 10 passes for 140 yards and 2 touchdowns and also ran for 88 yards. Underhill's key target this week was Landon North, who caught 8 passes for 128 yards.
Hunter Wilson made the biggest impact on defense this week as Galena lost to Columbus. The 5-foot-9 junior grabbed 1 sack.
The Rams' Underhill and North led the league in both passing and receiving yards. Underhill has thrown for 916 yards this season, while North has 29 catches for 654 yards. Gabe Helton from Beau Sarwinski's team leads the league in rushing with 744 yards.
The top two teams in Crawford-Neosho-Cherokee will face off this week when first place St. Mary's-Colgan takes on second place Columbus. St. Mary's-Colgan defeated the Trojans last week, while Dan Grundy's team bested the Bulldogs.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Titans take on Chuck Smith's team. Columbus has allowed 53 points this season, while the Panthers have given up 22. The Titans allowed 26 points last week as they beat Galena.
Southeast led the league in scoring this week after putting up 50 points on Oswego.
