The Wise Pumas scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They blew past Parkdale 91-48 on the road. Wise has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 28 points or more this season.
Wise's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aaron Jackson led the charge by scoring 15 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jackson has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Alexis Obase, who scored 13 points along with three steals.
When it comes to explaining why Parkdale lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jacob Wilson. Despite the final result, he scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Richards, who scored 15 points.
The victory (which was Wise's fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.4 points per game. As for Parkdale, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.
Wise will be playing at home against High Point at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. High Point is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Parkdale, they will head out on the road to face off against Laurel at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
