The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Yucca Valley has scored all season.
Yucca Valley lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jadon Pierce, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds. The matchup was Pierce's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Daniel Mills, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.
Yucca Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Servite, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Yucca Valley won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Clark at 2:00 p.m. on December 28, 2023. Clark has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 389 points over their last six matches. Servite won't have much time to rest: their next game is against San Pedro at 3:30 p.m. on December 28, 2023. San Pedro knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six contests -- so hopefully Servite likes a good challenge.
