Mario Romero posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 216 yards and two scores while picking up 13.5 yards per carry. His longest rush was for an incredible 76 yards.

Looking ahead, Romero and Moriarty will head out to challenge Chaparral at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lobos will enter the matchup having just beaten Portales, so the Pintos will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
