Cromwell has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Proctor Rails at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Cromwell knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past ten matchups -- so hopefully the Rails like a good challenge.
In what's become a running theme this season, Cromwell gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. Everything went their way against Cook County as Cromwell made off with a 80-59 victory. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Cromwell's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brady Dahl, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. Dahl has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last four times he's played. Drew Nyberg was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Proctor's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Hermantown, falling 93-62. Proctor has struggled against the Hawks recently, as their game on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Cromwell is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Proctor, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-15.
Cromwell ended up a good deal behind the Rails in their previous matchup back in December of 2021, losing 65-50. Can Cromwell avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
