Quinn Garrett was a one-man wrecking crew for Damonte Ranch as she scored 27 points along with five rebounds and five steals. Those 27 points set a new season-high mark for her. Ivy Rodriguez was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six steals and five rebounds.
Damonte Ranch's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-8. As for Reed, they bumped their record down to 0-6 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
Damonte Ranch will be home for the holidays to greet Carson at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nevada (Carson is ranked 49th, while Damonte Ranch is ranked 44th). As for Reed, they will head out on the road to face off against Reno at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Reno focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Saturday.
