Christian School of York's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 50-15 loss at the hands of Lancaster County Christian. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Christian School of York has scored all season.
Leading Lancaster County Christian to victory were Noah MacCartney and Sheldon Fisher. MacCartney scored 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals, while Fisher scored 12 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Fisher hasn't dropped below two steals for eight straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Richardson, who scored two points along with five assists and four steals.
Christian School of York's loss was their 16th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-11. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 23.6 points per game. As for Lancaster County Christian, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Christian School of York won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Harrisburg Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Pennsylvania (Harrisburg Academy is ranked 755th, while Christian School of York is ranked 753rd). As for Lancaster County Christian, they will head out on the road to square off against Mount Calvary Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
