Prairie Heights is 1-7 against East Noble since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Prairie Heights Panthers will head out on the road to square off against the East Noble Knights at 7:30 p.m. Prairie Heights has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Prairie Heights posted their biggest victory since December 5, 2023 on Thursday. They blew past Hamilton, posting a 50-13 win on the road.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Prairie Heights to victory, but perhaps none more so than Emily McCrea, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Boots, who scored 13 points along with six steals.
Meanwhile, East Noble greeted the New Year with with a 61-44 victory over Huntington North.
Payton Quake had a dynamite game for East Noble, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 11 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Quake scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Rian David, who scored 15 points.
Prairie Heights' record now sits at 7-11. East Noble's record is now 10-6.
Prairie Heights ended up a good deal behind East Noble when the teams last played back in January of 2023, losing 48-34. Can Prairie Heights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
