Kennett took a nine-run defeat the last time they faced off against Downingtown East, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Blue Demons narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Cougars 5-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blue Demons.
