Valley Christian has gone a perfect 3-0 against Globe recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Valley Christian Trojans will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Globe Tigers at 6:30 p.m. Valley Christian is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Valley Christian is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arizona's top teams: Perry, who was ranked tenth at the time (Valley Christian was ranked third). Valley Christian skirted past Perry 11-10.
Manny Macias looked comfortable as he pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Valley Christian let Derek Arold and Caleb Danzeisen run wild. Arold went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Danzeisen went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Those two hits gave Arold a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Grier, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.
Meanwhile, Globe can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Alchesay 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tigers have posted since April 11, 2024.
Braden Wager was a major factor no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Wager was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. That stolen base was his first of the season.
In other batting news, Jaeger Franco was incredible, scoring a run and stealing Three bases. while going 3-for-3. Braxton Tober also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Valley Christian's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Globe, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.
Everything went Valley Christian's way against Globe in their previous meeting last Thursday, as Valley Christian made off with a 22-0 victory. Will Valley Christian repeat their success, or does Globe have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
