Sunday just wasn't the day for Medfield's offense. They came up short against the North Reading Hornets on Sunday, falling 8-0. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Medfield saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cj Herrick, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Medfield's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for North Reading, their win bumped their record up to 16-4.
