Avery Howerton made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, firing off three home runs, seven RBI, and four runs while going 3-for-4. Those seven RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Whitesboro got a massive performance out of Bradi Gallaway, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, three runs, and two doubles. That's the most hits Gallaway has posted since back in February. Tylar Olsen was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI.
Whitesboro was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .593. They are 11-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
The win (which was Whitesboro's seventh in a row) raised their record to 15-7.
