The Ganado Indians and the Timpson Bears squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but sadly the Ganado Indians had to settle for second. They received a tough blow as they fell 35-21 to the Bears. Ganado's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
When it comes to explaining why Ganado lost, one person who can't be blamed is Bryce Ullman. Despite the final result, he threw for 80 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
Terry Bussey was his usual excellent self, rushing for 158 yards and three touchdowns, while also throwing for 204 yards and two touchdowns while completing 80.8% of his passes for Timpson. Bussey has been hot recently, having posted 100 or more rushing yards the last three times he's played.
Ganado's loss dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Timpson, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 15-0.
Ganado does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Timpson is on the road again on Wednesday and play against Tolar at 7:00 p.m. on December 13th. One thing working in Tolar's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 12 games.
