Wolfson's Jabree Shorter recorded the longest rushing play in 6A District 4 this season in his game against Lee last week. Shorter ran for 98 yards on the play and finished with 142 on the day as his team topped the Generals.
St. Augustine suffered a letdown when it was bounced from the state Top 25 this week after besting Englewood. The Yellowjackets had been ranked 25th, but fell to 37.
Darius Dove was the best wideout in the league this week as Lee lost to Wolfson. Dove racked up four receptions for 147 yards. Darius Harper helped Lee's passing attack out by catching five balls for 110 yards.
P.J. Blazejowski threw for 193 yards and three touchdowns. He went nine-14 with one interceptions.
Zaraphon Only made the biggest impact on defense this week as O.J. Small's team fell to Walter Williams' team. The 6-foot-3 defensive end grabbed one sack.
Bartram Trail's Blazejowski and Gabe Davis have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Blazejowski has thrown for 1345 yards this season, while Davis, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 22 catches for 498 yards. Jaques Riles from the Generals leads the league in rushing with 459 yards.
The top two teams in 6A District 4 will face off this week when first place St. Augustine takes on second place Bartram Trail. St. Augustine bested the Rams last week, while the Bears defeated Stanton.
