Friday just wasn't the day for Valley's offense. They were  outmatched by the Resurrection Christian Cougars and fell  44-0. Having soared to a lofty 43  points in the game before, the Vikings' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
 Jaiden VanHoesen threw for 76 yards  on ten of 25 attempts.   Alfonso Medina was his top target, picking up 30 receiving yards.
 Resurrection Christian got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Britton Walston out in front who rushed for 80 yards and two  scores. Walston is  on a roll when it comes to  rushing touchdowns, as he's  now  punched in two or more in each of the last three games he's  played.  Jaxson Pszanka also helped out with an impressive 89  receiving yards.
Valley now  has a losing record of 2-3. As for Resurrection Christian, their win was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 3-2.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Valley will  face off against  rival Berthoud  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Resurrection Christian is set to  take on  their familiar foe Eaton  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. That  game will pit two of the most dominant  backs against one another:  Walston and  Jackson Savona.
