There's no place like home for Eastside Prep, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Wednesday. They blew past Northwest Yeshiva 68-47. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Eastside Prep also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2019.
Northwest Yeshiva's lost on Tuesday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Sam Weichbrodt, who scored 18 points. Weichbrodt scored a full 38.3% of Northwest Yeshiva's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Evan Kaufthal, who scored 10 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals.
The victory got Eastside Prep back to even at 1-1. As for Northwest Yeshiva, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eastside Prep will take on Northwest at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Northwest is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Northwest Yeshiva, they will head out on the road to face off against Puget Sound Adventist at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Puget Sound Adventist and Northwest Yeshiva are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
