The Warren Bears's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They fell just short of Yucca Valley by a score of 53-51.
Yucca Valley got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Myles Harper out in front who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. Those six steals set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Jadon Pierce, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds.
Warren's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Yucca Valley, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Warren and Firebaugh will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 3rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Firebaugh knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five contests -- so hopefully Warren likes a good challenge. Yucca Valley and Desert Mirage will face off at 4:00 p.m. on January 3rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
